Windshield Insurance Claims Made Simple
Not sure what your insurance covers for a cracked or broken windshield? You don’t have to figure it out yourself.
Give us your basic policy information and we’ll call your insurance company directly to verify your coverage and deductible. Once we know what’s covered, we’ll handle the paperwork and file the claim on your behalf. You just bring us your car, or let us come to you.
Most comprehensive insurance policies cover windshield replacement, and many carriers waive the deductible entirely for a repair instead of a full replacement.

FAQs
Does insurance cover windshield replacement in North Carolina?
Comprehensive coverage typically covers windshield replacement, since it protects against damage from rocks, hail, falling branches, and similar events. Liability-only policies do not cover damage to your own vehicle. Your deductible will usually still apply. We can call your insurer to confirm your exact coverage before you schedule anything.
Will filing a windshield claim raise my insurance rates?
It depends on your provider and your state’s rules. Glass claims are usually treated differently than at-fault accident claims and often have little to no effect on your premium, but this varies by carrier. If you want to know for sure, ask your agent directly, or let us verify it with them on your behalf.
Do I have to pay my deductible for a windshield repair?
Many insurance companies waive the deductible for a repair, since fixing a small chip early is cheaper for them than paying for a full replacement later. This is one reason a repair can end up costing you nothing out of pocket even when a full replacement would not.
What information do you need to contact my insurance company?
Your policy number, your insurance company name, and your deductible amount, if you know it. If you don’t have these handy, call us anyway. We can often look up the rest once we have your name and insurer.
Do you deal directly with my insurance company, or do I have to?
We handle the call. Once we have your basic policy information, our office contacts your insurance company, verifies your coverage and deductible, and files the paperwork. You don’t need to sit on hold or navigate the claims process yourself.
What if I don’t know what kind of coverage I have?
That’s common, and it’s fine. Give us your name and insurance company and we’ll find out what’s covered before any work begins. You’ll know your out-of-pocket cost, if any, before you commit.
Can I still get service if my insurance doesn’t cover the damage?
Yes. If your policy doesn’t cover it or you’d rather not file a claim, we offer transparent out-of-pocket pricing with a free estimate upfront, no surprises either way.
